DMCA Takedown Policy

Last Updated: April 26, 2026

1. Copyright Policy

LatinMixx respects the intellectual property rights of all artists, labels, publishers, and creators. We are committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and responding to claims of copyright infringement.

2. How Tracks Get on LatinMixx

All tracks available on LatinMixx are submitted by authorized rights holders — including record labels, artists, artist managers, and their designated representatives. LatinMixx may also create promotional edits (clean versions, intro cuts, extended mixes) with the consent of the rights holder.

LatinMixx does NOT scrape, rip, or upload unauthorized content. Every track on the Platform was submitted through our official submission process by or on behalf of the rights holder.

3. DMCA Takedown Procedure

If you believe your copyrighted work has been placed on LatinMixx without authorization, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice:

  1. Send a written notice to dmca@latinmixx.com containing:
    • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
    • The URL or specific location on LatinMixx where the infringing material appears.
    • Your contact information (name, address, email address, phone number).
    • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
    • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
    • Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Review: LatinMixx will review your notice within 48 hours of receipt.
  3. Removal: If the notice is valid, the content will be removed from the Platform within 72 hours.
  4. Notification: The account holder who submitted the content will be notified of the takedown.

4. Counter-Notification

If your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it previously appeared.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, LatinMixx may restore the removed content within 10–14 business days, unless the copyright owner files a court action.

5. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, LatinMixx will terminate access to the Platform for users or accounts that are determined to be repeat infringers of copyright. Accounts that repeatedly submit unauthorized content will be permanently terminated.
