DJ Triple R

In the world of music, DJs come and DJs go. Few DJs have the ability to take a crowd from one extreme to another, leaving listeners wanting more while keeping that energy all night long. In the late-night hours at some of the hottest clubs in the Tri-State Area, DJ Triple R holds the crowd in the palm of his hand. Randy "Triple-R" Montano was inspired to deejay by his cousin, the great Turntable Assassin DJ Threat. With Threat as a mentor, Triple R quickly built the skill and confidence to rock out on his own and soon became a member of the well-known DJ crew, The Turntable Assassins. Staying true to his Dominican roots, Triple R mastered tropical Spanish blends like salsa, merengue, and bachata, while also expanding into hip hop, house, reggae, and reggaeton. As his popularity grew, he was requested in clubs across Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Las Vegas, Orlando, Tampa, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. After DJ Threat's untimely death in 2001, Triple R pushed even harder, joining La Mega 97.9's El Vacilon de la Manana and later 93.1 Amor on the Luis Jimenez Show. He has DJed for top brands including Heineken, Stoli, Samsung, Sprint, Hennessy, and Metro PCS, and has handled exclusive events for Universal Music Latin Entertainment, the Latin Grammys, the Billboard Latin Music Awards, and the Latin Mixx Awards Show for the past 10 years.
